Abbey St Bathans, par., hamlet, and seat, NE. Berwickshire, on river Whiteadder, 4½ miles SW. of Grant's House sta. and 7 miles NW. of Duns, 4797 ac., pop. 250; part of the chapel of its 12th century nunnery is now the parish church.
