Bridge-of-Allan, q.s. par. (Logie par.) and town (Logic and Lecropt pars.), NE. Stirlingshire, on Allan Water, 2½ m. NW. of Stirling by rail -- par., pop. 2462; town, pop. 3005; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank, 1 newspaper. It is celebrated for its mineral (saline) springs, which, with its mild climate, have made it a great resort of invalids.
