Polmont, par. and vil. with ry. sta. (Polmont Junction), Stirlingshire - par. (containing a small part of town of Grangemouth), 5512 ac., pop. 3955; vil., 3 miles E. of Falkirk, pop. 519; P.O., T.O., and P.O., T.O. at Polmont Station. Polmont gives the title of baron to the Duke of Hamilton.
