Rilston, (or Rylstone), eccl. dist., township, and vil., Burnsall par., N. div. West-Riding Yorkshire - dist. (Rilston with Collision), pop. 578; township, 3197 ac., pop. 130; the vil. is 5 miles N. of Skipton; it was from Rylstone (where there are slight traces of the old manor house of the Nortons) that Wordsworth's "White Doe" travelled to Bolton Abbey.
