Seaford, town and par. with ry. sta., Sussex, 2¾ miles SE. of Newhaven, 2347 ac., pop. 1674; P.O., T.O. Seaford was an ancient incorporation, and sent 2 members to Parliament from 1298 till 1832; it was made a corporate member of the Cinque Port of Hastings in the reign of Henry VIII.
