Winsford.-- vil. with ry. sta., Wharton township, Davenham par., Cheshire, and local government dist. (consisting of the entire townships of Over and Wharton), extending into Over and Whitegate pars, - dist., 5780 ac., pop. 10,041; vil., 5 miles S. of Northwich; P.O., T.O., 2 Banks.
