Wooburn (or Woburn), town and par. with ry. sta. (Wooburn Green), Bucks, in S. of co., 4 miles SE. of Wycombe, 3133 ac., pop. 2431; P.O., T.O. Wooburn is a prosperous place, and consists of the former vils. of Wooburn Town, Wooburn Green, Corsend, and Bournend. The inhabitants find employment in the paper and millboard mills, of which there are six at Wooburn. Cattle fairs are held in May and November. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1857. Several fine residences are in the par.
